Re-study scripts.  Know what the line is ahead of your's.

React more to everything said on stage.

Speak SLOWER & LOWER.  Use diction.  You cannot be understood where the judge sits.
Be more devious toward the chicken and be more frightened when the giant wakes up

September 26, 2014 Rehearsal

Be animated the entire time.

Listen to what we tell you and correct it.

The next rehearsal is Friday directly after the pep rally.  We will rehearse for one hour.
Sunday, rehearsal is from 2-4 or a little later. We have made a lot of progress.

Everyone
DICTION – circle all consonants.  Do not rush lines.
People who are not on stage need to stay hidden
Step on lines
Open up to the audience to speak
No straight lines
SLOW DOWN – It’s not a race
Learn your lines
Work on gestures – must be natural
Be quieter on stage – crossing
Lower voice pitch- all voices need to be deeper
Do not talk backstage
All actors – more facial expressions
Act from the toes to the head.
Don’t yell – speak from the diaphragm
Getting down the ladder is not a race.

Circle all the consonants in your scripts.
Open up toward the audience
Don’t stand in straight lines
Use levels.
Stay in character
Always be focused on the speakers
